For those who missed out on tickets for Taylor Swift’s new tour in the United States, there may be another opportunity to experience the American star’s performance.

The filmed concert, “Taylor Swift | The Eras“, will be coming to cinemas across the country, with the premiere date set for Friday, October 13th.
AMC Theatres is promising that the film will be shown at each of its locations in the US at least four times a day on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through its initial commitment, with many of the network’s Imax and Dolby Cinema locations locked in to ensure the singer looms larger than life on their premium screens.
Tickets are already on sale at AMCTheatres.com and Fandango. The prices aren’t cheap, as is the case with anything in Swift’s world: $19.89 for adults (plus taxes), $13.13 for children and seniors, on standard screens. (Charges will, as always, kick in for Imax and Dolby Cinema showings.)
The film is directed by Sam Wrench, whose previous work with major musicians includes Brandi Carlile’s Imax live show in 2022 (“In the Canyon Haze Live”), “Billie Eilish Live at the O2”, “Lizzo: Live in Concert”, and “BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage”.
On the AMC box office website, the runtime is listed as 2 hours and 45 minutes, a bit shorter than a set time that ran about 3 hours and 15 minutes in stadiums over the past six months. Part of this condensation is likely due to the elimination of costume and set changes, as no songs were cut from the film’s setlist.
